Yeah-I know this is super late to be posting Halloween Pics-but here they are anyway. Kailey wanted to be a princess so we went with that for a theme-Doug and I were the King and Queen, Spencer was a Knight and Ariah was the ferocious dragon. The room we decorated for our Ward Halloween party had a castle bouncer that the kids were able to jump in and get their candy.

Twin Falls Temple

We have been very blessed to live by Twin Falls during the building of the Temple. It has been so exciting to see it progress from start to finish. We were able to go to the Open House and take our kids through and now it is finally time for the Dedication.

Hello, finally got a chance to get online. We are having a blast, but have been very busy. Our kids are loving it up here. I don't have much time to be online. I also have to look for a new camera since Spencer took out other one for a dip in the pool.

Spencer's Haircut

So last night around 11:30ish were packing up and getting ready and Doug says that he needs a haircut before we leave. So as I'm cutting his hair I'm thinking-hey, I should give Spencer a haicut too. The problem is that he is sleeping. Another problem is that I'm pretty tired myself-results not good. I was actually doing okay until I was cutting around his ears and neck and realized I missed a spot on the side of his hair so without thinking of putting back on the extender I buzzed him-whoops. So then I spent a good amount of time trying to fix that and even it out and then gave up and went to sleep-hoping it would better in the morning. Nope. Poor kid. So i try to fix it again and it keeps getting shorter and shorter. Doug said to just leave it-it's a good camp haircut-whatever that means. Spencer doesn't realize it's bad-I hope I get a better system down by the time he starts caring. I can't ever seem to get his right.

Maybe goodbye for awhile

Hello-We are about to leave for Scout Camp and I am not sure if we will be able to get online at all-I will work on pics and keep stories and update it all when we get back.

I am sad that my strawberries that I planted last year have come back in full force and they are starting to turn red and were going to miss eating them.

I can't wait for our Twilight party! I will be Re-Vamping for August 2nd (Breaking Dawn)-Once again I'm requesting all who have not read Twilight to read it-you will not regret it.

Doug and I were doing some cleaning and organizing-getting the house ready before we leave. And then my friend called and I was talking to her in the other room while Doug was vacuuming. After a few minutes of talking my friend tells me "Hey your kids are here." What? They had been playing in their room (they were supposed to be cleaning it) and then snuck out. Kailey was the instigator for sure, Spencer goes along with most of her ideas. Anyway my friend lives about three blocks away (not really busy streets or anything, but still.) So I ask to talk to Kailey and I'm so mad and lecturing her about how she can't go walking off like that. And then she says to me-But Mom, I didn't walk, I ran. Kids.

Summer at Camp Bradley

So Doug got a job for the summer up at the Boys Camp. He is going to be the head cook and we get to go too. We are going to have our own apartment thats attached to the kitchen. It has all the basics and then some-it won't be roughing it at all. There is a lake and a swimming pool-the kids are going to have so much fun. It is up past Stanley, ID (the coldest city ever-worse than Rexburg even) but it will be a great escape from our hot house. I will miss our friends and the fun summer activities that go on, but I will be back at least once (Twilight party!).

Kailey made this tie for Dad in Primary. He loved it-and the candy that was attached to it.

For Fathers Day Activities on Saturday we went to the Airport (see above) and then Doug went with some friends to The Hulk movie. On Sunday he got spoiled pretty good too.

We hope he had a great day-he is a great Dad and we appreciate him a lot.
